Location Data Policy
Version 0.1.0 · Last updated 2026-08-05
Draft — Draft — this document has not yet completed professional legal review. It reflects how NADRI intends to operate and may change.
How location sharing will work when it launches, and its limits.
Status
Location sharing is in preparation and not yet live. This policy describes the system as designed; it takes effect when the feature launches and will be finalized with legal review under Korean location-information law. [Legal review required]
Design principles
- Never always-on: the host's location is shared only between QR check-in and check-out of an active booking, with explicit consent.
- Visible to the operations team for safety purposes — not published to other users.
- Short default retention for uneventful bookings, deleted automatically; a legal-hold state preserves data only when an incident or dispute is open.
- Location signals are treated as safety signals for operator review only — never as automatic proof of wrongdoing, and never used to infer homes or private places.
- Purpose, collection window, retention period, who can view it, and deletion rules will be shown in a dedicated consent screen.
